My partner and I have matching tats, done by Mad Mike in Whitesville NC.  The tat is of 2 hearts, of which symbolize my partner and I, with wings that have the pride colors on them, which symbolizes us as soul mates, the hearts are joined together and the Chinese symbols in the center of the hearts the stand for Beautiful Love.

Did this for my 40th birthday last September, it's a Labrys engulfed in flames (for my burning pride), and smoke that rises up behind and above to form an image of the Goddess spirit. The purple shaft is for gay pride too, as is the interlocking double female symbols at the top of the labrys to show I'm a proud and out lesbian. The labrys is my connection to my Amazon ancestors.

It is a barcode with the pride colours in it and if you change the numbers into letters
 ( a=1 b=2 c=3 etc)
It says "Gay and Proud".
